New Murakami Book Released
4 classic Haruki Murakami stories have been released as graphic novels
On October 24th, Murakami fans were treated to a new publication - Haruki Murakami Manga Stories 1. This new book is a collection of four classic Murakami short stories in graphic novel form.
The stories included are “Super-Frog Saves Tokyo,” “Where I’m Likely to Find It,” “Birthday Girl,” and “The Seventh Man.” The first of those was originally published in his 2002 collection, after the quake. The other three are from Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman, a 2006 collection. These have been adapted by Jean-Christophe Deveney.

The book is published by Tuttle and is the first in a planned three-part series. In total, these are planned to include nine of Murakami’s best short stories.
